Who We Are
Our journey began in 1949 when WWII veteran Joshua C. Palmer Sr. founded the company in the former African American village of Magruder, now part of Camp Peary. What started as a small, local service focused on meeting the needs of a close-knit community has grown to serve the entire Williamsburg and James City County area. For 75 years, we’ve remained dedicated to reliable, high-quality service, earning the trust and loyalty of our customers—some of whom have been with us for over 40 years. Today, Joshua’s children proudly continue his vision, ensuring the business remains a cornerstone of the community.
